Zoe Kravitz's engagment ring comes with an eye-watering price tag, diamond expert says

Zoe Kravitz and Harry Styles are engaged – and the question on everyone's lips is 'how big is the ring?'

While Kravitz, 37, hasn't posted a picture of her ring herself, paparazzi have snapped her out and about wearing a massive rock on her wedding finger.

Diamond expert and jeweller Nick Ireland told nine.com.au the actress' ring appears to be a massive 8 carats.

A ring that size, he says, would be worth about $750,000.

"She's an ambassador for Jessica McCormack jewellers, I would assume it's from there," Ireland said.

"It looks to be one of their popular styles, a 'button back ring' in a cushion shape, in top clarity."

The ring is set in a unique Georgian-style cut-down setting, made from 18-carat white gold and yellow gold.

Ireland said anyone looking to replicate the ring could do it for about $15,000 using lab-grown diamonds.

Kravitz and Styles sparked engagement rumours over the weekend when the Blink Twice star was spotted in London wearing the massive rock on her ring finger.

Page Six later confirmed the pair were engaged after eight months of dating. 

A source also confirmed via People that the singer and the actress have shared their happy news with "a small circle" of friends and family, to whom Kravitz has reportedly been showing off her engagement.

The pair were first linked in August last year when they were spotted walking arm in arm in Italy's capital.

Celebrity gossip page Deuxmoi later reported Kravitz and Styles, 32, had shared a kiss at London hotspot Rita's the week prior, with a separate source telling People they'd been "spending time [together]" during Kravitz's press run for Caught Stealing.

"Harry's been spending long stretches of time in Rome this year. Zoë has joined him several times since late summer," the source revealed.

"They just stroll around, meet up with friends and live a very relaxed life. They have great chemistry."

It was even revealed the actress will be joining Styles on his forthcoming Together, Together tour "when it makes sense" to do so.

The loved-up pair have reportedly been "prioritising" time together, more recently seen together for a number of outings in London and New York City before news of their engagement broke.
