Nicole Kidman celebrates 'galentine's day' months on from Keith Urban split

Nicole Kidman's Valentine's Day is looking a little different this year, months on from her split with country music star Keith Urban.

Kidman, 58, filed for divorce from her husband of 19 years, also 58, in September last year – just one day after news first broke that the couple had separated.

Ever since, it's been business as usual for the Aussie actress – and evidently Valentine's Day is no exception.

Posting a pyjama-clad photo to her Instagram today, Kidman made no mention of the split, instead acknowledging a female-centric alternative to the holiday of love.

Kidman captioned the post "Happy Galentines," – an ode to the celebration of friendship between women.

The fictional holiday originated from and popularised through NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation in 2010, continuing to gain traction through mainstream media in following years.

The photo in question depicted Kidman looking positively content, smiling blissfully as rays of morning sun shone onto her face and hair.

The photo was met with an overwhelmingly positive response from fans, with many stating that the Babygirl star was "glowing" as a result.

Hollywood icon Michelle Pfeiffer also took to the comments, writing "Happy Galentines my friend," followed by a series of red heart emojis in a touching show of solidarity.

Pfeiffer and Kidman both star in the upcoming Apple TV+ drama series Margo's Got Money Troubles, which is set to premiere this coming April.

A source told PEOPLE at the time of Urban and Kidman's headline-making separation that Kidman "didn't want this," and that's she'd previously been "fighting to save the marriage."

Court documents obtained by the news outlet stated that the couple had split due to "irreconcilable differences".

The Australian actress and country singer married in 2006 and share two daughters, Sunday, 17, and Faith, 14.

The separation was first reported by TMZ, with sources claiming the stars have been living apart since the beginning of the Northern Hemisphere summer.

It's alleged that Urban moved out of the family home in Nashville, with Kidman and their daughters remaining.
