Glaring absence at Beckham family Christmas as feud speculation continues

The Beckhams celebrated Christmas together at their home in the Cotswolds, but there was one glaring absence amid speculation of an ongoing feud.

Victoria and David Beckham enjoyed their Christmas festivities, complete with glazed ham and family sing-alongs, with their three youngest children, Cruz, Romeo and Harper.

Meanwhile, eldest son Brooklyn Peltz Beckham was on the other side of the world – spending Christmas with wife Nicola Peltz Beckham and her family in the United States.

Photos from the family's English gathering showed David putting up a Christmas tree, carving a glazed ham for the family and enjoying a wholesome sing-along with Victoria and Cruz.

In another snap shared by Victoria, Cruz and Romeo embraced their dad in a candid moment.

Later in the evening, the designer posted a photo of her youngest, Harper, writing in a notebook in front of a giant Christmas tree at their home.

Meanwhile, in the United States, Brooklyn gathered with the Peltz family for some yuletide celebrations.

He posted a photo holding Nicola's hand to his Instagram, captioning it: "My everything".

Brooklyn did not mention being away from his family for the holidays. Nor did Victoria, David or Brooklyn's siblings. 

It's the latest of a string of family events Brooklyn has missed since rumours of a feud between him, Nicola and the rest of the Beckham family began three years ago.

The speculated feud stems back to Brooklyn's marriage to Nicola Peltz in April 2022, when Nicola reportedly made a last-minute decision to snub a wedding dress made specifically for her by her mother-in-law Victoria, choosing to wear a custom Valentino Haute Couture gown instead.

Brooklyn and Nicola later honeymooned in the south of France. They were joined by members of the Peltz family but the Beckhams were not present.

Nicola attempted to shut down the rumours of a feud on a number of occasions, telling The Times in October 2022: "It's not a feud! I keep seeing everywhere that word, 'feud, feud, feud!?' I mean, maybe they picked up on something? And now they're labelling it feud."

Later, fuel was poured onto the feud rumours when Brooklyn failed to attend his father's 50th birthday celebrations in April and May 2025, including a father-son camping trip that Cruz and Romeo joined David for.

They then missed Victoria's 51st birthday celebrations.

In August 2025, Brooklyn and Nicola celebrated their marriage at an intimate vow renewal ceremony with the Peltz family. The Beckhams were not present.

The latest of the ongoing feud came earlier this week when Cruz made an explosive statement in an Instagram story claiming that Brooklyn had blocked his parents David and Victoria on social media.

Last Sunday, Cruz defended his parents after a report circulated that they had unfollowed Brooklyn on Instagram.

Alongside a photo of the news report about his parents, Cruz wrote: "NOT TRUE.

"My mum and dad would never unfollow their son… Let's get the facts right.

"They woke up blocked… as did I."

It's one of the first times a Beckham family member has addressed the public feud head-on.
