Nicole Kidman makes first public appearance four days after divorce bombshell
Nicole Kidman made her first public appearance following her shock split from Keith Urban.
Just four days after the 58-year-old Aussie actress filed for divorce, she was on stage for the amFAR's auction in Dallas on Saturday.
During the night, she presented Yellowstone creator and Lioness collaborator Taylor Sheridan with an award.
At one point during the evening, she shared a message about elevating "our common humanity" and uplifting our communities.
"I think what Taylor recognises, as we all do, is that we are all more alike than we are different, and that we are better when we look out for each other, and that of course is why we're here tonight," she said in her brief address, according to video shared by People on social media.
"What better way to support, to elevate our common humanity than to help fund bold and innovative research."

Kidman looked chic in an elegant, yet simple, black gown for the event.
Urban made his return to the stage only a couple of days prior, fronting fans for the first time for his High and Alive World Tour at the Giant Centre in Pennsylvania on October 2.
He belted through songs including Straight Line and Where the Blacktop Ends, but he made one crucial setlist change that is sure to set tongues wagging.
Urban dropped his hit single The Fighter – an anthem which was dedicated to Kidman – from the setlist, after it sparked controversy in the wake of their shock split news.

A resurfaced clip recently showed him changing the lyrics to The Fighter to mention his guitarist Maggie Baugh, 25.
There's no suggestion of anything romantic between the pair, but many thought this to be a sign that things in his marriage were not going well before the news broke.
Last week, news surfaced that Kidman and Urban, 57, had split after 19 years of marriage.
People confirmed the split, with a source reporting that Kidman "didn't want this" and "has been fighting to save the marriage."
A day later, on Tuesday, she officially filed for divorce.
Court documents obtained by the publication show Kidman cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split.
She is also seeking to be the "primary residential parent" for her and Urban's two kids, Sunday, 17, and Faith, 14.
The story of the reported split was first broken by TMZ, which claimed the pair had been living apart, with Urban moving out of their Nashville family home, leaving Kidman and their daughters there.
