Katy Perry spotted kissing former Prime Minister amid romance rumours

Rumours of a romance between Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have been swirling since they were spotted together two months ago

But now it seems they're more than just rumours.

New photos obtained by the Daily Mail over the weekend show Perry, 40, embracing Trudeau, 53, on board her yacht, the Caravelle, off the coast of Santa Barabara, California.

In the photos, the pair stand on the top deck of Perry's yacht. The pair wrap their arms around each other as they share a kiss.

Perry wore a black one-piece swimsuit as she embraced the former Prime Minister, who wore a pair of jeans and sunnies with no shirt.

Per the Daily Mail, the photos were taken by a passenger on board a passing tourist boat late last month as Perry was taking a break from her Lifetimes world tour.

Speculation of a romance between the pair first began when the pair were spotted dining together at a high profile restaurant in Montreal, Canada during Perry's visit to the Canadian city for her Lifetimes Tour.

TMZ first reported the story publishing photos and video of the Fireworks singer and the former Canadian Prime Minister enjoying a meal together at the Quebecois fine-dining establishment.

The duo were spotted deep in conversation at a table for two inside in the high-end restaurant on Monday evening.

Just days after, Trudeau was spotted among the audience at Perry's Montreal show on Wednesday 30 July.

In videos captured by fans, the former Canadian Prime Minister could be seen singing and bopping along as the Firework singer performed on stage.

Their connection comes after the pair both recently ended long-term relationships.

Perry and her long-term partner, actor Orlando Bloom, confirmed their split after 10 years together.

Trudeau separated from his wife Sophie Grégoire in 2023.

Neither party has commented on the speculation of a budding romance as of yet.
