Zoey Deutch announces her engagement and reveals she's secretly been engaged for months: 'Love of my life'

Zoey Deutch is engaged!

The American star, 30, who is known for films including Before I Fall and Set It Up, has revealed she's secretly been engaged to partner Jimmy Tatro, an actor and comedian, for three months.

Deutch shared the happy news on Instagram with pictures of the stunning beachside proposal, calling her partner "the love of my life".

She also showed off her stunning diamond ring, revealing her new fiancé proposed with what appeared to be a cushion-cut ring on a whisper thin gold band.

"Three months engaged to the love of my life," she posted.

Underneath, a number of stars commented to share their congratulations.

For the proposal, Deutch stunned in a pale yellow halterneck dress and revealed Tatro dropped down to one knee to propose.

He set up lights in the sand and an elaborate floral display to propose to his partner of at least four years.

They reportedly started dating in 2021. 

In a sweet birthday message in 2022, Tatro shared pictures of the pair together and wrote to his future bride-to-be: "Happy birthday to my favourite person <3."

The actress hails from Hollywood royalty.

Her mother is actress Lea Thompson, 64, known for films including Back to the Future and Jaws 3-D.
