'Terrifying': Comedian Laura Clery shares new details of horror moment she was pinned underneath 272kg fridge at home
Comedian Laura Clery has shared new details about the horror moment she was pinned underneath a 600lb (272kg) fridge in a freak accident at home.
The 39-year-old social media star gave an update on her health as she thanked the first responders who helped her in the moment.
"So I was crushed by a 600-pound fridge," Clery said as she looked up at two firefighters in a video shared on Instagram.
"Is that correct?"
One of the men responded "yes" to Clery who was strapped to a bed and wearing a neck brace.
"Shout out to these actual HEROES who pushed a 600-pound fridge off of me," read the text above the clip.
In the caption of the clip she went on to thank the firefighters who had saved her life, breaking into her home while she was trapped to get the fridge off her.

"This was right after the fentanyl hit and all of my pain [went] away (instantly) I just need to say THANK YOU to these AMAZING firefighters who saved my life!!" she wrote.
"Truly. They got there so fast, broke through my garage door, and 3 of them pushed a 600 pound fridge off of me and got me safely to the trauma unit before things got worse."
https://www.instagram.com/reel/DYsLL9PMxnw/?utm_source=ig_embed&Clery, who was at home with her two children Alfie, seven, and Poppy, five, at the time of the accident said she's so grateful that she's ok, although she knows how "differently this could have gone."
"No broken bones, my kids are okay and safe, I can walk… I'm so lucky!" she continued.
"They were calm, kind and just handled everything like absolute heroes!
"And then right as one of them pushes the fridge off me, he goes, 'Wait… I watch all of your videos!' and they all start hyping me up 😭 like sir… I am currently being flattened but thank you.
"Forever grateful for these men. Real life angels. 😭🙏❤️."
Clery first posted about the horror accident last week, calling it the "most terrifying night of [her] life as a single mum" in a post on Instagram.
"I was home alone getting ready for bed when my 600 pound fridge slammed into me and pinned me against the counter," she wrote.
Clery said she couldn't move, she couldn't breathe and it was impossible to move, admitting she could feel herself "losing consciousness".
"My kids were in the house. I genuinely didn't know if I was getting out of that alive. Thank God my phone was in my pocket and I was able to call 911," she wrote.
"Thank god it didn't fall on my kids. It took three firefighters to lift it off me. I'm still shaking."
In another post she explained that Alfie had managed to pull the fridge down while climbing on it, claiming that it wasn't "properly mounted into the wall".
"Because of that, my seven-year-old was able to pull it forward, and when I tried to push it back, it fell on me and was fully crushing me. It nearly killed me. And it could have absolutely killed my child," she wrote.
Clery added that she wants to sue the contractor who installed the fridge for negligence after the horror ordeal.
