'This one is gonna be hard': Channing Tatum shares photos from hospital bed as he prepares for surgery

Channing Tatum is on the mend after undergoing surgery.

The 45-year-old actor shared a photo of himself in a hospital bed as he prepared to go under the knife for a "separated shoulder".

"Just another day. Another challenge. This one is gonna be hard. But whatever. Let's get it in," the Magic Mike star captioned the black and white post.

"Big bad wolf 🤍 we got disss," commented the Australian model.

"Screwed shoulder. Yay," he captioned a follow-up X-Ray of a large screw now in place and holding his bones together.

Tatum didn't offer up any more details about how the injury happened, although the actor is known for doing a lot of his own stunts in his movies.

In September last year, he told Variety he had injured himself while shooting Avengers: Doomsday, which is set for a December 2026 release.

The outlet reported that Tatum showed up to the interview with a limp.

His double had to take over a lot of the heavier scenes in the film, due to him needing intense physical therapy for his leg injury.

"It's not about the pain I feel in the moment," Tatum said of the injury.

"It's knowing I can't take this back. And now I know what the next six months of my life will be like … I just hate getting old. In my mind, I'm literally still 30 years old – 26, if I'm honest."
