Dancing With the Stars judge Derek Hough and wife Hayley Erbert welcome 'miracle' baby
Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert have announced the arrival of their first child.
The Dancing With the Stars judge and his wife shared that they welcomed a baby girl and revealed her sweet name alongside a black-and-white snap.
"December 29, 2025," the couple started the post, celebrating their "miracle" years after Erbert's terrifying health scare where she suffered a cranial hematoma, or an accumulation of blood in the skull.
"Everley Capri Hough 🤍," the post continued.
"Every step of our lives has led us to you. Our hearts have been cracked wide open and our world is forever changed."
The post has been flooded with comments from friends, fans and of course fellow Dancing With the Stars alumni.
Aussie Robert Irwin, who won the latest season of the dancing show, commented, "Congratulations to you both! So happy."

In July 2025 the couple shared the news that they were pregnant, with Erbert debuting her baby bump in a post on social media.
"We can't believe the biggest thing to happen to us could be so small ♥️," the pair wrote alongside the maternity shoot footage.
Their pregnancy news for the couple came after they had experienced miscarriage and also a health scare with Erbert that resulted in emergency brain surgery.
Hough and Erbert tied the knot in August 2023, in California, but just four months later she was hospitalised with a cranial hematoma and underwent emergency brain surgery.

Last month she celebrated the second anniversary of her health scare, reflecting on the "miracle" of "creating life" two years after "fighting for [her] life."
"I'm truly grateful for it all, and so incredibly proud of myself and my body for everything it has endured," Erbert wrote.
The couple first met in 2014 when she was hired as a dancer for his Move Live Tour with his sister Julianne Hough.
They started dating the next year and he proposed in 2022.
