Taylor Swift's crew in utter shock after $295 million in bonuses handed out
Taylor Swift's crew broke down in tears after finding out they were getting a significant chunk of $US197 million ($295.5 million) in bonuses for their work on the Eras Tour.
The international superstar's record breaking 21-month tour grossed over $2 billion in ticket sales, and Swift had no issues sharing that money with the crew who helped her make the show as great as it was.
Swift handed out more than $295 million in bonuses across the entire crew, including $US100,000 ($150,000) to the truck drivers who traansported the stage, and a massive chunk of change to her back up dancers, band and singers.
On the second episode of the Disney's Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour/The End of an Era, film crews recorded as Swift handed out the large cheques to her team, with the Fate of Opelia singer saying a brief speech before the crew opened their envelopes.
"Before you open yours I just want to say you guys – this leg of the tour has been harder than anything I've ever done in a live setting, and you guys have taken this on with such excitement, such curiosity and the endurance you've shown," she said.
"The spirit you've shown, how much you've given to these crowds, that gives to me every single night. The tour has done really well thanks to all of our hard work.
"So if you could kindly read the message..."

She asked her backup dancer Cam to read the message, which she explained was the same on all the cards.
"Dearest Cam, we've travelled the world like we set out to do. We've dazzled the crowds but we've missed family too," he read.
"My full gratitude doesn't come from a bank but here's a... [bleep] dollars just to say thanks. Love Taylor."
The crew are visibly shocked by the amount – which wasn't aired on the show – with some dropping to their knees and others covering their mouths.

Internet slueths believe Cam said the amount was $US750,000 ($1.1 million) but of course that hasn't been confirmed.
Others said the dancers got close to $US1 million ($1.5 million) each.
One crew member reportedly fainted after opening his letter, The Sun reported.
In the episode, production assistant Max Holmes was seen holding his envelope before gripping the table behind him, before saying "I think I'm going to pass out"
In January, Page Six reported that the singer handed out $295.5 million across the two year tour, with Swift explaining that "bonus day" came at the end of each leg of the tour.
Everyone on the tour got a bonus, incuding the hair and makeup artists, physiotherapists, merchandise sellers, wardrobe, catering, laundry, prodcution memebers, bus drivers, dancers, singers and band members.
Each member recieved handwritten and wax-sealed envelopes, written by Taylor.
"Setting a precedent with the Eras Tour is really important to me," she said in the episode.
"People who work on the road – if the tour grosses more, they get more of a bonus. And these people just work so hard. And they are the best at what they do."
Swift personally made a reported $540 million from the tour, using much of that money to buy back her music masters, which were sold out from under her in 2020.
