'Free from temptation': Liam Gallagher reveals he's quitting booze again after breaking sobriety on last date of Oasis tour
Liam Gallagher says he's giving up booze for good, after breaking his sobriety during the final date of Oasis' reunion tour.
The 53-year-old British rocker, who fronts the band alongside his 58-year-old brother Noel Gallagher, quit alcohol ahead of the much-anticipated reunion which kicked off in July.
The band completed their Oasis Live '25 Tour, in São Paulo, Brazil, on November 2 and to celebrate Gallagher let loose with "a few beers", he revealed in a post on X.
The revelation came about after user on the platform shared an onstage video clip of Gallagher, writing: "A week more of touring and he would have ended in a psychiatric hospital".
Gallagher, who has become known to regularly interact with fans on social media, replied: "Why's that then?".
Another user chimed in, asking: "Have you gotten off your coconut yet?"
In response, Gallagher explained that he "had a few beers" but "wasn't feeling it".

"I'm back on the righteous path free from temptation," he wrote.
Gallagher decided to stay sober to keep in good shape for the Oasis reunion tour and it's paid dividends, he says.
Recently, the Wonderwall singer admitted that the Oasis tour had "saved his life" after making the call to quit smoking and drinking.
"You've done a great job staying healthy for the gigs, Liam. I'm sorry u have to live like a monk during the tour - but damn, you're killing it!! Thank you thank you thank you," one fan posted on X.
Liam shared a very candid reply.
"Oasis saved my life it's about time I sorted my nappa [head] out I know how much this means to people so stopping drinking and smoking and snorting Gary baldies are sacrifices that needed to be made thems the rules MCFC," he wrote, including a mention of his hometown football team Manchester City Football Club.

"I've had enough," he added.
The Oasis co-lead has been open about his history with drugs and alcohol.
He told The Guardian in 2017 that if he could live his life over again, he'd "maybe reign it in on the drugs and drink".
The band recently wrapped up their reunion tour after making stops across the world, including in Sydney and Melbourne – marking the band's first Australian shows in 20 years.
Oasis was formed in Manchester in 1991 and became arguably one of the biggest bands in the world up until their high-profile split in 2009.
