Teddy Swims reveals shocking salary he made last year despite selling out arenas
Teddy Swims has revealed the shocking salary he made last year.
The Grammy-nominated artist sold out arenas worldwide in 2024 and his music pulled in billions of streams but you'd struggle to believe that if you saw his pay check.
Speaking on The Rush Hour with Maroon & Hindy following his performance at the NRL Grand Final revealed the shockingly low amount he brought in.

"I think we made like (US)20grand or something like that," Swims revealed.
But it was also the best year financially for Swims as a musician.
"Last year was the first time we ever made [money]," he admitted explaining that the cost of touring takes up a lot of money.
"But everybody's paid and everybody's fed, so I would say that's successful, but now we're finally in the black."

Swims explained that last year was "the first time" his team had broken even when it came to the expenses involved with touring and large teams.
"So this year we're kind of in the black and, you know, finally making money," Swims said.
"But it took five years of touring for us to actually really start seeing anything, you know.
"So a lot of people think you're doing great if you're playing areas and stuff, but a lot of times we're, like, barely breaking even."

Swims began his first headline tour in January 2020 which coincided with the release of his debut major-label single Picky.
Before that he had toured with his friend Addy Maxwell.
The musician has toured Australia twice in that time and is currently Down Under for his third Australian tour which commenced on Tuesday 14 October in Sydney and will conclude with a Perth show in Wednesday 29 October.
These tour dates mark Swims' arena debut in Australia as he performs at venues including the 16,000 capacity Qudos Bank Arena and the 15,000-capacity Brisbane Entertainment Centre.
The singer, known for his popular tracks Lose Control, The Door and Bad Dreams, among others, has clocked up 8.7 billion streams for his music.
Speaking to the radio show he added that these days "the business is doing good and in the next couple of years I'll be swimming".
