Nicole Kidman debuts new look as she attends Paris Fashion Week days after shock divorce news

Nicole Kidman has returned to work and she's done it with a new look in the wake of her split from husband of 19 years Keith Urban. 

The 58-year-old Aussie actress attended the Chanel runway show during Paris Fashion Week on Monday, October 6, and she's got a fresh haircut. 

She teamed her newly cut bangs with an effortlessly casual chic white button down and jeans for the appearance alongside her daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. 

At one point as she sat in the front row, Kidman added a plum-coloured leather jacket with white trim and matching Chanel bag to her look. 

Both Sunday and Faith matched their mum's casual look in low-key outfits. 

Fashion Week has been a big one for the family so far this year, with Sunday returning to the runway on October 1 to walk in the Dior show. 

They were also joined by Kidman's niece, Lucia Hawley, for the show.

Kidman's appearance at the show comes after she was named as an ambassador for Chanel.

"As someone who has such an appreciation for haute couture, I am so looking forward to witnessing Matthieu's vision for the oldest haute couture house still in operation and having the opportunity to wear what I know will be gorgeous creations," she said in a statement to WWD.

It's the second time that Kidman has been seen publicly since news of her shock split. 

The day after news of their split made headlines, the Babygirl star officially filed for divorce. 

The papers, which have been obtained by several publications, cite the reason for their split as "irreconcilable differences". 

She also asked to be the primary residential parent in the custody agreement as part of their divorce filing, where she will get 306 days with them, while Urban will get 59 days a year.

Over the weekend Kidman was on stage for the amFAR's auction in Dallas, to present Yellowstone creator and Lioness collaborator Taylor Sheridan with an award.

Urban made his return to the stage only a couple of days prior, fronting fans for the first time for his High and Alive World Tour at the Giant Centre in Pennsylvania on October 2.

Despite their shock split making headlines last week, both Kidman and Urban are trying to keep things moving forward with work.

"Nicole is honouring her work commitments, as is Keith," a source tells People exclusively of the actress and 57-year-old country musician.
