Natalie Bassingthwaighte engaged after proposing to partner Pip Loth after two years of dating

Congratulations are in order for Aussie singer Natalie Bassingthwaighte, who is now engaged after proposing to her partner Pip Loth.

The singer, 50, posted a video to Instagram revealing the proposal, which took place at Niagara Falls in Canada.

The video began with a shoutout from Canadian actor Noah Reid, who dedicated a cover of Tina Turner's Simply the best to the couple. He is known for his unique rendition from his role on Schitt's Creek.

Over the sound of his voice, the Rogue Traders singer shared moments from the trip with Loth, including taking a helicopter ride over the water.

The scene then changed to a woman writing a poem on a typewriter in public, with the pair standing in front of her as stage manager Loth was handed a note from the woman.

The Neighbours star then pulled out a ring box and presented it to Loth, before getting on her knees.
