Keith Urban taken aback by fan's Nicole Kidman comment during concert
Keith Urban was caught off guard by a fan he helped mid-concert by a comment about his estranged wife, Nicole Kidman.
The singer, 57, was trying to help a fan make an announcement to her family, but one detail stopped him in his tracks.
As he spoke to a woman at his High and Alive Tour at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on October 17, the Grammy Award-winner was captured mid-conversation with the fan, asking her, "I'm not gonna like your name?"
She responded, "It's Nicole," with the crowd howling with laughter in the TikTok video.
In response, Urban fell onto his back in defeat, holding up an arm as if he was asking for help.
"Did you say Nicole Richie?" he said, trying to change the topic, "It's unreal. How are you, Nicole Richie? You have a twin."

He then jumped into the pit, helping her announce the pregnancy to her family as she held up a gray onesie reading, "Smallest Keith Urban Fan."
People confirmed the sad news Nicole Kidman and Urban had separated after 19 years of marriage last month, with a source telling the publication that Kidman "didn't want this" and had been "fighting to save the marriage."
TMZ broke the news of the split, with sources claiming the actress and musician had been living apart since the start of the northern hemisphere summer.
The day after the news made headlines, the Babygirl star officially filed for divorce.
Urban's fan interaction comes days after he was forced to cancel a concert last minute.
He was set to perform on Thursday at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina, in the US, but the venue and Urban issued statements over the cancellation.
