'I've been here before': Nicole Kidman seems to have no doubt she will be fine post divorce, 'no matter how painful'
It seems Nicole Kidman has no doubt that she will make it through this rocky patch, "no matter how painful".
The acclaimed actress and producer, who recently filed for divorced from her husband of 19 years Keith Urban, recently spoke with Harper's Bazaar opening up about her own resilience as she reflected on the best part about growing older.
"The best part is the experiences that you've accumulated," Kidman told the publication.
"So you go, 'Oh, I've been here before. I actually know how to handle this now'. Or, 'Maybe I haven't been in this place, but I've experience something similar to this and I do know that I will get through it.'"
The new interview was published 10 days after Kidman filed for divorce from Urban.
News that they had split broke days earlier.

The separation was first reported by TMZ, with sources claiming the stars have been living apart since the beginning of the Northern Hemisphere summer.
It has been reported that the split was not what Kidman wanted and that she had been "fighting to save the marriage".
But while she didn't mention any word on the divorce, it appears Kidman knows she will be just fine based on past experiences.

"There's something to knowing that no matter how painful, or how difficult, or how devastating something is, there is a way through," she continued in conversation with Harper's Bazaar.
"You're going to have to feel it. You're not going to be able to numb it. You are going to have to feel it and it's going to be insurmountable at times.
"You're going to feel like you're broken but if you move gently and slowly – and it can take an enormous amount of time – it does pass."
Kidman has been in the industry since she was 14 and has navigated the highs and "painful" lows of her career and personal life – including two high profile divorces – under the spotlight.
Now, she wants to share the lessons she has learnt from her rollercoaster life with others.
"As I get older, I want to be able to share and impart the things I've learned," she said.
"I've seen a lot, I've experienced a lot, and I've survived a lot.
"I want to pass on some of that knowledge and that wisdom and whatever I've learned. I'm not big on telling people what to do, but I'm more than happy to share."
