Tom Holland 'on the mend' after head injury on set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Tom Holland has shared an update after suffering a head injury on the set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day last week.

The actor, 29, had fans worried after reports emerged last week that he had cracked his head during the fall and had been treated for a concussion, according to The Sun

However, he has since been spotted on Saturday alongside his three brothers Paddy, Harry,and Sam to host an event for their charity, The Brothers Trust.

Taking to Instagram on September 28, the day after the event, he shared a highlight reel of the event, as well as a caption.

"Raising money for fantastic causes and having fun doing it!" he wrote, "I'm sorry I had to leave early but I'm feeling better and on the mend. A huge thanks to my Dad for taking over after I left. The show got considerably funnier 😂"

The event was attended by Holland's fiancée Zendaya, who was on hand to show her support for the charity event.

The couple posed with guests, including actress Lily D. Moore, in photos posted to social media by Java Joy co-founder Laura Hope Whitaker.

It marked the celebrity couple's first public outing together since their engagement in January.

Holland's head injury occurred at Leavesden Studios in Watford, England, with production now suspected to be on hold while the actor recovers.

A woman, believed to be a stunt double, was also taken to hospital in an ambulance.

It's well known that Holland mostly always performs his own stunts, with a background in acrobatics and dance giving him the flexibility to do so.

A source told Deadline that Holland would be taking a break from filming for a while "as a precaution" following the fall on Friday (Saturday AEST).
