'I've had a great life': Ozzy Osbourne's haunting words before death at age 76
Ozzy Osbourne had made peace with death shortly before passing away aged 76.
The British rocker shared his thoughts on the upcoming documentary Ozzy Osbourne: No Escape from Now, set to air on Paramount+ in October.
"If my life is coming to an end, I can't really complain about it," he said in a trailer that has been released.
"I've had a great life," he added.
Joining him in the documentary, wife Sharon and their children Jack, Kelly, and Aimee who spoke of their father's final months.

Each spoke of watching Ozzy treasure his time during his farewell tour, which wrapped up just weeks before his death, and how making music and performing "energised him". At the time Ozzy was suffering from Parkinson's disease and associated decreased mobility.
He had initially attempted a farewell tour in 2019 however suffered a bad fall and had to cancel.
"Ozzy's one regret was that he never really said goodbye to his fans," Sharon explained.

Following his recovery the tour was back on, although getting through the tour was a struggle for the ageing rocker.
"The thing about getting older ... I used to take pills for fun, now I take them to stay alive," he said in the documentary.
His final show was held at Villa Park in Birmingham, England, on July 5.
Ozzy's cause of death was listed as a heart attack. He had coronary artery disease in addition to suffering from Parkinson's disease for years.
"He had a brilliant career and it ended in a brilliant way," Sharon added.
Ozzy died on July 22, 2025. His family released a statement upon his death.
"It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.

A public funeral procession was held in Ozzy's hometown of Birmingham in the UK, with his family joining the procession as fans lined the streets.

His final performance saw him seated on a dramatic black throne with bats crafted onto it, a nod to one of his most infamous on-stage moments.
He certainly earned his moniker, the Prince of Darkness, although his reality TV series, The Osbournes, which aired from 2022 until 2005, showed a much gentler side to him.
Jack confirmed his father had finished writing an autobiography called Last Rites, which is set for release later this year.
