Travis Kelce reveals the qualities he loves about his mum that he sees in girlfriend Taylor Swift too

Travis Kelcehas revealed that he sees the same qualities he loves about his mum Donna Kelce in his girlfriend Taylor Swift.

Speaking with GQ for a profile, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end was reminded of a time he once said his ideal partner would share some of the same qualities as his mum.

He has now found that.

Opening up, he shared that Donna, 72, and Swift's similarities lie in, "Their kindness, their genuineness, their ability to say hello to everyone in the room."

Travis added that they share an "ability to show love and support no matter what."

"And on top of that, their work ethic," he continued.

Travis explained he saw his mum work hard to reach her goals, moving from a bank teller all the way up. 

His mother's grit and determination to reach her own goals is something he sees in Swift's approach to her globally successful career.

"I've seen Taylor to the exact same thing of setting goals for herself and exceeding the expectations and really captivating the world in that regard," he added.

Swift, who just announced her upcoming album The Life of a Showgirl on Kelce's sport podcast, recently completed her record-breaking Eras Tour.

Travis was spotted on several occasions, supporting Swift from the crowd – something he says he loves.

"I get to be the plus one. I get to go and be that fan. Because I am a fan. I'm a fan of music. I'm a fan of art," he told GQ.

Swift has also been spotted supporting Travis at his games and watched on intently at this year's Super Bowl.

Supporting each other in their respective arenas is something Travis loves about their relationship.

He admitted it's been a "cool" experience, with her being able to be his fan sitting on the sideline for his football games.

In public, they love to support each other but Travis says their relationship thrives in private.

Elsewhere in the interview he explained that when they're together, they're just normal people.
