'80s actress Loni Anderson's cause of death revealed weeks she died at 79
Loni Anderson's cause of death has been revealed almost three weeks after she passed away.
It has been confirmed that the actress died from metastatic uterine leiomyosarcoma, according to a death certificate obtained by TMZ.
It is a rare, aggressive cancer that starts in the uterus and can spread to other parts of the body.

Anderson, who starred in the hit TV comedy WKRP in Cincinnati, died Sunday 3 August.
Her death came just days before her 80th birthday.
At the time it was revealed that Anderson died at a Los Angeles hospital following a prolonged illness, said her longtime publicist, Cheryl J. Kagan.
"We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our dear wife, mother and grandmother," Anderson’s family said in a statement.

Anderson starred as radio station receptionist Jennifer Marlowe in WKRP in Cincinnati which aired form 1978 to 1982.
She starred alongside her fellow cast members which included Gary Sandy, Tim Reid, Howard Hesseman, Frank Bonner and Jan Smithers.
The role earned Anderson two Emmy Award nominations and three Golden Globe nominations.

Most of her career was spent on the small screen with early guest roles on S.W.A.T. and Police Woman.
The actress also has several TV credits from a five-decade screen career.

Alongside her TV roles, she also starred on the big screen several times including alongside Burt Reynolds in the 1983 comedy Stroker Ace.
The two went onto get married and welcomed their son Quinton Reynolds. They later divorced in a messy breakup that captioned headlines in 1994.

Throughout her life, Anderson married four times. First to Bruce Hasselberg, with whom she welcomed her daughter Deidra, then Ross Bickell and the late Burt Reynolds.
At the time of her death she was married to Bob Flick, whom she married in 2008.
Anderson is survived by Flick, her daughter Deidra and son-in-law Charlie Hoffman, son Quinton Anderson Reynolds, grandchildren McKenzie and Megan Hoffman, stepson Adam Flick and his wife Helene as well as step-grandchildren Felix and Maximillian.
