Kim Kardashian stops traffic in hot pink Balenciaga ensemble as she joins celebrities at Paris Couture Week

Kim Kardashian has embraced 'Barbiecore' during Paris Couture Week, choosing a striking fuchsia dress for a visit to Balenciaga.

Kardashian, 44, chose a hot pink ensemble which featured a signature plunging neckline with matching tights and heels.

The reality star shared the look on her Instagram stories before stepping out in public, with Balenciaga's Haute Couture collection set to be shown at the event later today.

"BALENCI BARBIE 2LYFE," she captioned the story which showed her incredible tights and heels in signature Balenciaga style.

Earlier in the day, Kardashian shared a photo during her glam session, showing clips still in her hair mid-styling session.

She accessorised her bold look with another Balenciaga staple: shield sunglasses, which she wore while posing for photos and when she stepped out.

The clips seen in her hair on Instagram were later removed to reveal a curled bob.

Kardashian also paid tribute to a long-time Balenciaga designer who is leaving the company, having worked with the reality star for years and creating some of her most iconic looks.

Demna Gvasalia is the current Creative Director of Balenciaga, and the Georgian designer has now left the iconic brand and will work with Gucci.

"It's Demna's last @Balenciaga show tomorrow...so I will be pantabooting the f--k out of these," said she shared in another story on Instagram.

Kim became a brand ambassador for Balenciaga during Demna's tenure, and outfits included her all-black, face-covering Met Gala look in 2021.

It isn't known if Kardashian's collaboration with the brand will continue following Demna's departure.

Kardashian cut ties with Balenciaga in 2022 following backlash in response to a campaign depicting children in questionable light.

Then, in 2024, she returned as the face of the billionaire luxury fashion house.

"For several years now, Balenciaga's designs have been a part of my many looks – and some of my most iconic fashion moments. This historic fashion house embraces modernity, craftsmanship and takes an innovative approach to design under Demna," Kardashian said in a statement shared on her Instagram Story.

"For me, this long-standing relationship is built on mutual trust and a commitment to doing what's right. I'm excited about this next chapter for the brand and to become their ambassador."

Kardashian has also worked with Gucci in the past.

Paris Couture Week officially kicked off on Monday, with appearances by A-list stars including Kiera Knightly and her husband, musician James Righton, who helped Chanel celebrate 110 years of Haute Couture.

Actress Marion Cotillard also made an appearance at the event, as did Penelope Cruz, Lorde, Gracie Abrams, Kirsten Dunst, Charlotte Casiraghi, Sofia Coppola, Anna Wintour, Cardi B and Dua Lipa.
